The Festival of the Photograph

Look3: Three days of peace, love and photography in Charlottesville, Va. Vince Musi, host for the festival, introduces one of the insight conferences. This year Mary Ellen Mark, Joel Peter Witkin and James Nachtwey are the featured photographers speaking during the festival.

James Nachtwey's work is on exhibit at the Les Yeux du Monde Gallery. It is one of 16 venues in town offering photographic exhibitions during the festival. Many will continue to hang through the month of June.

Ken Touchton peruses one of more than 50 photography books on display during the festival that were published in 2007 and 2008.
