Cattle Farm
A delightful morning on a farm drew memories of my childhood. When I was young except for my parents, all my relatives — aunts, uncles and cousins — on both sides of the family were farmers. I spent many summers on family land. Now most of it is gone. Only one cousin and her husband remain on the land. When they retire, there is doubt any of the children will step forward to work it.
Young cattle and recently weaned calves ....
