Short Pump, Virginia

First frost of the season. It is 31 degrees F/-0.5 degrees C this morning. Winter seems closer each day. This weekend should see soberingly lower temperatures.

Jenine perfects her wither look. She looks to my daughter, Sherianne, as the exemplar of the art. Personally, I never knew such a thing had to be perfected. I thought such looks are genetic, inherent to the gender, passed along on the X chromosome from mother to daughter.

You are so right about "the look". It is genetic, passed just the way you describe!

I get such a kick out of how you see the world Bill. You truly take the time to stop and smell the roses.
