Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota, Florida

Siesta Key is one of the best beaches in Florida, if not the United States. The storm passes to the south of us and promises to give us a great day.

It is off season. I can't imagine what it is like when the beach is crowded.

We toss crumbs to the gulls ...

... and begin to gather a vociferous crowd.

Two boys join us, tossing chips which the gulls catch in the air.

A jet ski is put away for the night.

The consignment shop is really an open air enterprise out in the parking .lot. The building serves as a catch-all to sort things coming in. A waterside condominium and marina is reflected in the window

I love the image of the storm passing over the beach.
